Hey folks, its been quite awhile since my last post, yeh, do apologize for my absence in this past few weeks, I have been busy went out with friends, doin some particular stuffs and had an amazing trip to Ujung Genteng on 20-22September which was exactly during Hari Raya..
Well, frankly speakin, its an incredible spot for those who enjoys nature's scenery, really. The location is actually located in Sukabumi Area, which is 7hours time from Bandung City (what an exhausting trip I had). Luckily, we didnt face so much trouble during the trip, had a silent road trip where our moslem friends were havin their Salat in the morning, hence we had straight away burdenless drive. The journey was actually started from 5am in the morning where we left ko sony's home, headed to pick Mona up as well as Cute afterwards, and drove as fast as possible to caught Apank who had been stood at the meeting point on-time. We were really sorry to him upon our late arrival.. As we both met at the meeting point, we crossed the silent street fast since we had to meet our folks who started their journey from Jakarta. Unfortunately, we altered the next meetin point with Jakarta because of some particular reasons. A lil issue came out where The Jakartas arrived a lil while from the prediction, yet it shouldnt be a big deal. Once we met em, we continued our journey with total of 6 cars havin such a 'carnival'..=p We had a good scenery in the middle of the trip, natural and beautiful sceneries are pictured, simply showing how God has been really nice to mankind, creating all of this magnificent view to us. LOVELY..!!! After had a long journey, we, eventually, reached Ujung Genteng and found our accommodation place which was just a few metres from the beach.. AWESOME MAN!! Adorable place to stay while the other accomodations were a few more km from the beach which is worse.. Apart from the not-good-looking shack, I personally enjoyed it as it gave you some views of how unwealthy people could survive from their non-prosperity.. Great experience to share, additionally.. After we loaded off our bagpacks, we walked closer to the beach, tried to catch some photos while the Jakartas rushed to have their lunch, (they havent had their breakfast upon their late arrival, so they must be surrounded by terrible hunger..=p sorry mates) awhile after that, we decided to visit Villa Amanda Ratu which is located a few kilometres back from our beach, oh, our place is named Aquarium Beach. Its named so since the sea water is kind of havin a gradation blue color which is so breathtaking..
a question may come to the surface, what did u see in Villa Amanda Ratu? well, it is somekind of cottage to stay over where you could have a rocks view, corals and etc. The rocks are staging, force you to make a lil climb to move to other rocks, its fun though and obviously a good spot for photo-capturing. An analogy of the place could be compared with Bali's Tanah Lot to give you a big picture of how the place looks like.
we then headed back to house to continue the journey to a place where a group of people taking care of turtles as its been one of rare creatures. PROTECT THE TURTLES FROM UNWISE HANDS...!!!
once we arrived, we got to see how turtles proliferates and hiding all the eggs inside the sand. But, I didnt manage to see the phenomenon as I was too exhausted and so were Mona, Cute, ko Sony, Bona, and some other blokes, hence decided to off from the shore and went back to the house.. Thats the story of the 1st day..
Woke up in the morning, preparing all stuffs and jumped to Curug Cikaso, a beauty of waterfall panoramic view. An aid from small boat was needed to bring us to find the curug (waterfall), the place does, actually, have 3 waterfalls, unfortunately, only one is operating perfectly (??!! wait, it sounds like a machine, doesnt it? I should change the word 'operating' perhaps. =p) anyway, we took loads of photographs. After fulfilling our satisfaction, went back to house and be ready to go to Cipanarikan Beach to watch small turtles are being let go to the free sea, others were playin sand, havin fun with the sea-wave whereas me and ko stanley stood off-shore to caught the moment of their happiness..^^ was there until 5pm something and then rushed to catch the sunset on the other beach which is not close each other, we forced the motorcycle-driver to fetch us there as fast as possible since we didnt want to miss the sunset. Thanks God, we didnt miss it, yet we didnt manage to capture a good pictures as there was many clouds blocking the sun.. Pity us,, Apart from that, we felt happy as the beach is astonishing despite of strong wind that was blowing while we were there.. As the sky went darker, we were brought by the motorcycle-driver back to the house, had dinner, and 'fainted' due to horribly exhausted.. =p
On the last day, 22nd of Sept, we woke up before dawn, and set everythin up to catch moment of sunrise, yeh, me, ko stanley, ko sony, bona, sandy, anas, axiang, lia, and a few more who I forgot went to TPI. Be there at the proper time, not late yet not too early. setting up the tripods, waiting the moment to come, while I was just standing without tripod since I dont have it yet.. (pity me) However, I still managed to capture some good stuffs though... Felt the sun has raised pretty high, so we decided to go back and chillin at house for the last minutes of our end.. Took a bath, re-packing the backpack, loaded all the stuffs in to the car, then we ended our journey by saying farewell to each other and headed back to Bandung..=)
Those are some big pictures about what I had during these past few days, and yeh, its such an amazing time to share with.. (Click here for more pictures)
