Hola back, this is gonna be the catch-up-post of the week.. Today's post is about the Vietnamese Cultural Night 2010 held by The Vietnamese Society in UNMC. The event was actually held a few months back, on 24th November (2months ago counting today is 25th of January).. My apology for late posting of this event due to my academic year project.
Anyways,, The event went amazingly great. They covered variety of sections, start from food stalls before the main event began, singing performance, drama, as well as traditional dance performance. The overall ratings should be 8/10 I believe.
So, I will show the event slices by slices..
The food stalls were held earlier, hence all the audiences were welcome to enjoy the food while accomplishing their dinner time too. A lot of people were attending the food stalls, although they didn't buy the concert ticket. Even, some of my lecturers were coming to taste the authentic hand-made Vietnamese cuisine.
When the clock was about to tick to number 8, the concert was commenced by the opening speech of the Society's President, Ms. Hany Fann.
According to some sources, the delegation from Vietnamese Embassy also attended the event..
The event was continued with theatrical performance which featuring a friend of mine, Agha Sardjanto.
In the middle of the drama, there were also singing as well as traditional dance performance performed by the Vietnamese lads. The dance has been performed to the public during the first annual VCN, and again performed this year. Yet, it didn't reduce any taste of dance itself.. Two-Thumbs-Up performance I must say.
Agha also sang few songs during the act, which was I'm Forbidden and Superman by Five for Fighting.
Last but not least, I would like to congrats all my Vietnamese lads for a good show..
